Rocky Mountain Slayer 70

RM Slayer 70 2019 RRP £5499 To be honest with you, I wasn’t looking for a new bike. I had only had my Trek Slash 9.8 29er for around 8 months when I was speaking to Jen and Dan at Ride Bikes about what’s happening over the coming months. I love stopping in to the shop when I’m in Ulverston (Usually with my boys) for a brew and to talk about all things Bike. Jen and Dan mentioned to me about the possibility of them working with Rocky Mountain in the future and my ears pricked up! I was told to keep this strictly under wraps for the time being. Lezyne Mega XL GPS Computer

If you’re looking for a great all-rounder that is competitively priced this is the computer for you. For the serious rider in training the computer can be either paired using bluetooth or Ant+ to cadence/speed sensors, heart rate monitor and a power meter meaning you can do all the number crunching you wish. The computer also auto syncs to Training peaks and Strava which makes keeping track of your training super easy. Personally, even though I’m not a rider that paws over stats and figures, I have found this computer allows me to push my riding in different ways. Firstly, it’s really easy to plan a ride using either the Lezyne Roots website or using an app called Komoot (my preferred method

We have fallen in love with the warmth and softness you feel pulling on a piece of Findra clothing. The 100% seamless merin

Price: £85 Pattern: Fine stripe or Bold, various colour ways I’ve been tasked with reviewing Findra’s base layer and I’m not complaining one little bit! The base layer is made from 100% seamless Australian merino wool, designed as active wear functional for all sports, not just cycling. I actually bought this top last year and have worn it most days for doing most things in; work, school run, ski club, hiking, skiing, washing up, family get togethers, and of course biking and bikepacking. I’m confident I’ve put it to the test. It feels so soft to wear which is an added b
