Ride Bikes is co-owned and managed by Dan Stringer and Jenny Nuttall and Boz the trail dog.
Dan comes from a marine Engineering background, having sailed as an engineer on tankers before progressing into roles in Health and Safety and Project Management. Dan's biking career goes back more than 30 years, first racing as a juvenile back in the days of the original Bolty Bash and Malvern Classics, since then he has raced in the British Downhill Series and Megavalanche, before spending a few years as a mountain bike instructor. Jenny has been riding mountain bikes most of her life, but has been riding seriously for the last 11 years. She is a British Cycling Mountain Bike Guide and is dedicated to sharing her passion for the sport. She won a Cycling UK award in 2018 for being one of the 'Top 100 Inspirational Women in Cycling' for holding ladies rides for all abilities.
Both Jen and Dan's main passion is exploring the Scottish Highlands on two wheels and bagging as many Munro's with a bike as possible. This is reflected in the shop in the quality of the bikes and kit we stock. If you're doing the toughest rides, you need the reliability of the best equipment.
